VIA TRAINING

VIA training starts with this questionnaire. It enables future VIA trainers and educators to start thinking about their own safe mobility. Each VIA trainee can apply at the end of the questionnaire for a first digital open badge which recognises their interest in safe mobility and which they can include in their CV.

“Open Badges” is the world's leading format for digital badges. “Open Badges” is a digital badge that is verifiable, portable, and packed with information about skills and achievements.

VIA has chosen Open Badges to recognise skills acquired in safe mobility. This choice is in line with the search for an innovative pedagogy to improve safe mobility for all young people and encourage schools, NGOs, companies and professional organisations to support the recognition of skills in safe mobility.

A badge is the informal equivalent of a diploma whose attribution, validity and nature could be verified on a third party site.

A badge is a digital image that informs what it attests to, to whom, by whom and when it was awarded, on what criteria. (see more https://youtu.be/dCkhuuCy2rE)
